What Will Maska Offer?

Maska is the Sankranthi release from the M S Raju's table. B Gopal directs the film, and it has Ram pairing opposite Hansika Motwani and Sheela. The film has music by Chakri and is being promoted as romantic entertainer with mass elements. It also has Sunil in a special role.

Now what is it that this film can offer is the big question? B Gopal is no Puri Jagannath in today's context to draw big crowds. Ram will heavily depend on his recent success in the film Ready, but if the story and screenplay don't work out well Ram cannot draw repeat audience. More over Ram is not a mass hero with a great fan following. The heroines of the film as usual will be puppets in a big scheme of things. Chakri's music has been able to create limited success.

That leaves Sunil as the only USP for this film. If Sunil's character can evoke enough laughter and curiosity, this film might as well do good, and get some repeat audiences. Let us wait and watch what happens!
