What might have gone into Maniratnam’s head when he decided to cast Priyamani in Surpanaka’s role in his forthcoming film Ravan, does Priyamani look so ugly that she had to be cast in a Rakshi role? And then what made Priyamani accept this role?

Indeed many question that the director-actress duo will answer at some later stage, but for now let us be content with the news that she will be the seductress who will crave for Ram (to be played by Vikram in Tamil and Telugu).
